Congressional Inventions Project Bringing Foam Fingers and Baseball Spirit to Capitol Hill Tradition

The Congressional Inventions Project is bringing some extra game-day energy to Capitol Hill with a special pre-game giveaway ahead of the annual Congressional Baseball Game.

Starting at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, June 10, the Congressional Inventions Project team will be outside Nationals Park handing out custom foam fingers to fans, congressional staff, and attendees before first pitch.

“No baseball game is complete without a foam finger,” the organization said in announcing the event.

The Congressional Baseball Game has become one of Capitol Hill’s favorite summer traditions, drawing lawmakers, staff, and supporters together for an evening of baseball and bipartisan camaraderie. The Congressional Inventions Project hopes to add to the excitement by giving attendees a fun way to show their team spirit before heading into the stadium.

Foam fingers will be distributed while supplies last.
